ZZToo

ZZToo are a new tribute band for those Texan Blues / Rock Stalwarts ZZ Top and they specialise in some of the bands earlier tracks from albums like Fandango and Tres Hombres. With no real design brief I thought it would be better to get away from the typical dark cliche`d websites and designed a bright and fun website making use of new tchnologies to include some fancy fonts.

With videos embeded from the professional streaming service at Vimeo©, we created a website where a sample of a clients wedding film is never more than two clicks away and along with random quotes selected from their large collection of customer testimonials the website content is kept fresh.

Lucy Hockey Hair Studio

With an upmarket clientelle Lucy Hockey wanted a website that promoted the quality of services provided at her hair studio in Abergavenny. She also wanted it to echo the studio decor so with a clean and classy aubergine and warm grey colour scheme we embellished the home page with an `exploding` slideshow and included a photo gallery to particularly show off their `wedding hair design` service.

Leaktechwales

Seeing a need for professional underground water leak detection services in South Wales the client asked for a clean and simple website reflecting the type of business. With a completely open remit to create a website we made up a demonstration which thankfully the client liked which also helped keep the cost down. Being so flexible also meant the client had the website delivered in a little over 2 weeks which is quick even by Gwent Web Design standards.

Villa Calpe

Villa Calpe is an apartment to rent on Spains` Costa Blanca just a short walk from the beachfront. Having already built 2 other websites for the client he entrusted us to promote the villa so a bright and colourful design was installed along with a slideshow (literally) on the front page and both a guestbook and photo gallery to show the accommodation and surrounding area.

Kerith Security

Kerith Security came to us with a pretty open idea of what they wanted for their website. We designed the logo and chose the colours which was well received at the first design meeting and as the client was keen to start an advertising campagn we burnt the midnight oil and designed the website & installed all the facilities in a shade over 4 weeks. Another website complying with the W3C standards means that it displays just as well on our smartphone as it does on a desktop / laptop computer.

Razzelcam Wedding Video

Razzelcam wedding video capture that special day with the latest HD video cameras and then exquisitely edit the footage into something very unique. They wanted to portray that vision on their website and wanted to make it both easy to use and easy on the eye so we installed a `carousel` which rotates example videos with every photo on the website leading visitors to a quality example of their skill.

Bryn y Cwm Community Forum

The Bryn y Cwm Community Forum was established by Monmouthshire County Council in 2003 as an independent body to more easily enable the views of the people of Abergavenny and surrounding to be heard. Following extensive consultation with forum members a clean, easy to use design was created along with a Blog & subscriber Mailing List facility to further encourage public communication.

Abergavenny Borough Band - Brass Band in Monmouthshire

Following a meeting with the chairman of Abergavenny Borough Band we drew up a template based around the colours of their original website keeping in mind that the website may well expand. In the design brief was the requirement to promote their music and compact discs so we installed short samples of the tracks and configured payment with Paypal.

Beautiful 2 Bizarre Cakes - Handmade Cakes in South Wales

Tina Lane of Beautiful 2 Bizarre Cakes based in Newbridge South Wales creates wonderful hand made cakes for every occasion. She wanted a website that stood out but still kept the theme of her business card so we based the design around that. To really show off the cakes we installed several photo galleries and made all the images in the body text `zoom` into view. As always we optimised the website for the search engines and it is already catching enquiries for `Handmade Cakes in South Wales` (listed 5th of 66,400 pages on Google).

St Michaels Centre - Modern Hall for Hire in Abergavenny

A recently constructed modern, well equipped and surprisingly spacious building situated in the heart of Abergavenny is available for hire in the form of The St Michaels Centre. The trustees wanted to promote the centres` facilities to increase the booking rate for both `one-off` events and for regular clubs and events. We installed a 360^o panoramic view so that visitors could get a feel for how large the rooms are and setup a calendar showing available dates.

Villa Elisabeth - Holiday Property in Lanzarote

Having acquired their villa on the island of Lanzarote the owners wanted to promote the rental aspect of this self catering apartment. They had no firm ideas on the design but wanted it to be sunny and summery so we came up with a simple but effective design. An availability calendar needed to be installed along with an easy to use photo gallery - all updateable by the client. Because they didn`t want to lose the summer bookings we pulled out all the stops and the website was live within 3 weeks!

This busy motor vehicle repair business in Blaina wanted to expand their customer base and take their first steps onto the internet. We explained in plain English the technical aspects of starting a website and how it could help attract new customers. This busy department of Nevill Hall Hospital, part of the Gwent NHS Trust,  wanted to provide information to future  permanent and locum medical staff in order to attract the highest calibre of candidate. We installed an easy to update calendar showing available locum shifts quickly reducing any medical staffing problems and a comprehensive area for existing staff including telephone directory, news and document delivery system. 

Visual Impact Video Productions - Video Production in South Wales

This video production company in Abergavenny South Wales commisioned us to create a corporate website to promote their video production services. They wanted a clean and simple site and also needed a logo. From the logo we created the overall look and installed the CMS / Website Editor. We also converted a demo video to the appropriate video format and included it into a page.
